Opening day of the 2022 Living History season! Featuring an ensemble piece with Dorsey Singh Baker, John and Sarah Boyer, and Nellie Gilliam Day, about early Walla Walla and the founding of Baker-Boyer Bank.
May 15, 2 P, Fort Walla Walla Musuem:
Presentation as Matilda Sager Delaney, Pioneer Woman and Whitman Massacre Survivor. My fourth year with this event:
Possible supernumerary appearance in The Dance Center’s recital “Sleeping Beauty”! Time and location TBA. Exciting!
June 4: Mountain View Cemetery, Walla Walla, WA, 10 A:
Historic Tour of Cemetery event featuring prominent folk from Walla Walla’s past who rest there. Performing as Nellie Gilliam Day. For details and registration information call Mountain View Cemetery 509/527-4485.
September 18, 2022, 2 P, Fort Walla Walla Museum:
Presentation as Nellie Gilliam Day. This will be the debut of a full-length presentation, from the year 1918 (Nellie will be sporting a new “look,” an event in and of itself):
November 5, 2022, Noon-2 P, Touchet, WA:
At last, an Author Event! I’ll be talking about “Myth-Taken Identities,” re-imagining mythic and legendary characters in fiction, and lots more on the topic of writing.
