I am honored, once again, to be a guest on KPTZ radio Port Townsend’s “Cats in Our Laps” program with host Phil Andrus! The evening of October 8 Phil and I will be “live” at the KPTZ studio, talking about the latest release in my fantasy/mythology series Crisis in Big-G City, my years as half of cowboy music duo “Nevada Slim & Cimarron Sue” and my current adventure with Fort Walla Walla Museum’s Living History program.

The broadcast runs from 7-10 P PST and can be streamed here:

I’m not sure when in this interval we will be visiting but will post that detail soon. Listening to his show from start to finish is a total “win” for hearing about Port Townsend/Jefferson County arts and artists, and many other things of interest.

The last time Phil and I visited (December 26, 2021) the interview was conducted remote, me snug in my Walla Walla living room with extraordinarily cuddly but sadly now deceased Friday June the Sixth Matley in my lap:

Portrait of Friday, September 9, 2018.

I don’t know if “only cat” Hoosegow Matley and his sitter will be listening in, but if they do I hope his Mom makes him proud. . .

Hoosegow, sole survivor of all our animal family that moved to Walla Walla in 2018.

If you missed the 2021 show or would like to revisit it, there are two Audio clips (link provided below) at the blog page of this website. One hour covers music, the other writing.

I hope you’ll tune in to hear us “live” on October 8!! Until then, happy reading and happy listening. . .
